Important Acronyms

Here at BU we use acronyms a lot, and often we do not even realize that they are not that straightforward to understand for someone coming from a different field or department.

For that reason, we decided to produce a list of the most common acronyms you will come across during your time at BU, with the relevant explanation.

On top of those, you can also consult the official BU abbreviations and codes list from this page.

If you need to know about abbreviations and symbols appearing within course listings, here is another helpful page.
