Here at BU we use acronyms a lot, and often we do not even realize that they are not that straightforward to understand for someone coming from a different field or department.
For that reason, we decided to produce a list of the most common acronyms you will come across during your time at BU, with the relevant explanation.

- This is named after Allen Questrom, a retired retailing executive who graduated at BU in 1964, and donated back money so that our university could keep excelling in the field.

- Active Directory (AD) is a Microsoft networking technology used by the Questrom School of Business. It allows students, faculty, and staff to access lab computers, printers, class resources (Questrom Tools), websites, etc.
